Saudi AgentX Hackathon Crowns Top AI Innovators

Riyadh: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Thursday concluded the AgentX Generative AI Hackathon, an event that drew strong participation from young tech professionals, industry experts, and sector leaders.

More than 250 participants took part in the competition, completing a series of intensive training and mentorship workshops. Over 17 real-world challenges were tackled across key tracks including health, education, customer service, gaming, and entertainment.

The closing ceremony featured opening remarks outlining the hackathon’s objectives and its role in empowering national talent in artificial intelligence. Attendees were also briefed on the innovative projects developed during the event, alongside presentations highlighting the career opportunities offered by hiring partners.

A jury of industry specialists evaluated the submitted solutions, after which the winning teams were announced and the top three positions were honoured for their outstanding contributions.

The AgentX Generative AI Hackathon serves as a national platform to foster innovation, advance next-generation skills in generative AI technologies, and strengthen collaboration between participants and partnering organisations from both the public and private sectors.
