Rumors: iPhone 16 to Feature Upgrades
News Desk
Islamabad: Apple has yet to disclose details about the features planned for the upcoming iPhone 16 series, but a recent rumor suggests the tech giant may introduce a significant design upgrade.
Leaked images of the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the current iPhone 15 Pro Max indicate Apple could be making its first design change in four years.
Reports suggest the iPhone 16 Pro Max might feature a larger display, moving up to a 6.9-inch screen from the previous 6.7 inches seen on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch display, compared to the 6.1-inch screen on the iPhone 15 Pro.
Speculation about the larger displays gained traction when tipster Majin Bu shared an image comparing the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, noting the former appeared larger.
Meanwhile, it’s expected that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will retain their current sizes of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively.
Although Apple has not confirmed a release date, insiders suggest the company typically unveils its new iPhones in September. Sources close to the matter hint the iPhone 16 series could be announced in the first or second week of September.
Details about the pricing for the highly-anticipated iPhone series have not been disclosed by Apple.
In related news, Apple is also rumored to introduce the latest Apple Watch Series 10, which will reportedly feature a larger display and a new chip.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 will maintain a similar appearance to its predecessor but will be thinner. However, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is not expected to have a new design this year.
