Roof Collapse Claims Lives of Five Family Members in Charsadda

Peshawar: Tragedy struck in the Turangzai area of Charsadda as at least five members of a family, including three children, lost their lives when the roof of their house collapsed during a windstorm.

According to rescue sources, the incident occurred in the Khat Koroona village of Turangzai, where a dilapidated roof gave way amid strong winds. The victims included the father, mother, and their three children, who were all killed in the collapse.

Locals, along with rescue workers, retrieved the bodies from the debris and transported them to the District Headquarters Hospital Charsadda for post-mortem and identification.

Authorities have urged the public to remain cautious, especially in areas with vulnerable structures, as weather conditions continue to pose risks.
