Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi presided over a high-level meeting in Islamabad late Wednesday night to review the law and order situation.
During the meeting, Naqvi emphasized that no one would be allowed to enter the red zone, stressing that maintaining public order is the government’s top priority.
He acknowledged the right to protest but urged that it be conducted at appropriate locations that do not disrupt the daily lives of citizens.
Naqvi reiterated that the protection of life and property is the government’s primary responsibility, and assured that the enforcement of the law would be upheld.
He also warned that strict action would be taken against anyone attempting to take the law into their own hands.
The meeting included a detailed review of the public order situation.
