Lahore: Foundation Stone Laid for New Pilgrim Accommodation in Nankana Sahib by Provincial Minister Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora

Nankana Sahib:  Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs and President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, laid the foundation stone for a new building in Nankana Sahib on Sunday, aimed at facilitating Sikh pilgrims.

This development project includes the construction of 100 rooms dedicated to providing comfort and accommodation to pilgrims visiting from around the world.

Minister Arora emphasized that enhancing facilities for Sikh pilgrims is a top priority, ensuring they can perform their religious duties in a comfortable environment.

Earlier in the day, the minister visited several Gurdwaras, including Gurdwara Lila Ram and Gurdwara Bhatti Sahib, where he inaugurated Langar Halls.

These halls will provide free meals to pilgrims, upholding a key tradition of the Sikh religion.

During his visit, the minister instructed representatives of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) to ensure transparency and the timely completion of all development projects. He highlighted the importance of these initiatives in promoting religious tourism and strengthening the national economy.

Arora assured that the Punjab government is committed to facilitating pilgrims and respecting their religious freedoms. He directed all relevant institutions to utilize all available resources to achieve these goals.

The ETPB chairman, members of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, and other related individuals were also in attendance.
