Islamabad: The fifth and final T20 match between the Pakistan and Australia Women’s Blind Cricket Teams was abandoned due to a wet outfield caused by persistent rain at Wally Tate Park, Queensland.

According to a press release, continuous rainfall rendered the playing conditions unfit, leading officials to call off the match.

Despite the weather disruptions, both teams showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship throughout the series, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Pakistan claimed victory in the opening T20, while Australia bounced back to win the third match.

The Pakistan Women’s Blind Cricket Team is scheduled to return home, arriving at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, at 1:50 a.m. on Sunday (April 27).
