PTI’s Islamabad Rally Postponed to September 8

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) postponed its planned public gathering in Islamabad, rescheduling it to September 8.

This change comes after the local administration revoked the event’s no objection certificate and sealed off roads leading to the federal capital.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan announced that the rally would now take place on September 8, following instructions from PTI founder Imran Khan. “The postponement was decided after a meeting with Imran Khan in Adiala jail,” Khan explained.

PTI Secretary General Omar Ayub also confirmed the new date, attributing the change to Imran Khan’s direction. “We have received information suggesting that the government is plotting to incite chaos under the guise of the rally,” he said.
