Proclaimed Offender Arrested in Taxila

Wah Cantt: Taxila police have apprehended Rafeeq, a proclaimed offender wanted in connection with a murder and attempted murder case.

The arrest follows a February 10 incident where Rafeeq was involved in a violent clash over godown possession, resulting in the death of Noor Alam and injuries to Jameel and Anwar.

Rafeeq had been on the run after the registration of the murder case and his subsequent declaration as a proclaimed offender by the court. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided his hideout and made the arrest on Saturday.
