Pro Vice Chancellor Appointment Eases University Struggles: ASA-AWKUM

Islamabad: The Academic Staff Association of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan commends the decision of the Government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa regarding the recent appointment of a Pro Vice Chancellor.

 Abdul Wali Khan University has been without a Vice Chancellor or Pro Vice Chancellor since January 2024.

The General Secretary of ASA-AWKUM expressed satisfaction with the appointment, highlighting the considerable challenges faced by students and staff during this period.

With the appointment of the Pro Vice Chancellor, there is now optimism for the revision of the budget, bringing relief to the university community. Gratitude is extended to the honorable Chief Minister of KP, Meena Khan, Minister of Higher Education KP, and the Secretary of Higher Education for their timely and just decision.
