Pakistani officials said the talks built on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s recent visit to Pakistan, which had laid the groundwork for closer economic coordination. Beyond economic issues, the two leaders reviewed regional and global developments, reaffirming a shared commitment to regional stability and sustainable development. Officials said the dialogue reflected increasing alignment on strategic issues affecting South Asia and the Middle East.
The visit comes as Pakistan seeks greater foreign investment and external partnerships to support economic reform, while the UAE continues to expand its footprint in regional development and infrastructure projects.
