President, PM Celebrate Pakistan’s Test Success

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended their congratulations to the Pakistan cricket team for their victory against England in the Test match held at Multan Stadium.
In a statement issued by the President House on Friday, President Zardari praised the outstanding performance of the Pakistani players, particularly the spinners, who played a pivotal role in securing the win.
He expressed optimism that the Green Shirts would continue to deliver impressive performances in the future.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the team for winning their first home Test against England in years, leveling the three-match series 1-1. Pakistan triumphed over England by 152 runs in the second Test at Multan Stadium.
In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) timeline on Friday, PM Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the team, saying, “Well done, Team Pakistan for winning the first home Test after a long haul with a historic win against England.”
He also commended Sajid Khan and Noman Ali for their remarkable bowling performances, with nine and 11 wickets, respectively, adding, “Remarkable team effort at display.”
