President Commends On-foot Traveller For Promoting HRs

ISLAMABAD: Well-known Pakistani citizen Kharlzada Kasrat Rai, who has travelled abroad on foot to promote peace and human rights, has received praise from President Dr Arif Alvi. President commended Kasrat Rai in a meeting held at the Awan-e-Sadr. Rai informed the president that he visited 29 different covered and covered almost 16,000 km on foot to further social causes, particularly interfaith cooperation.

Rai was encouraged by President Dr Alvi to spread awareness of a variety of vital topics, including polio, breast cancer, and special needs individuals.

The Pakistan Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said that the landslide hit the point of Khan Rosh Dana Sar in Zhob, Dera Ismail Khan causing severe damage to several vehicles and reports of injuries to several people have also emerged.

While heavy vehicles got stuck due to landslides, many people are injured. DC Shirani advised that passengers should not travel on the highway until its restoration is complete to avoid any suffering. Passengers should not travel on the Zhob DI Khan National Highway for the next 24 hours, he added.
