Police Recover 12 Stolen Bikes, Laptop

Islamabad: Islamabad Khana and Humak police teams successfully apprehended five members of two bike-lifting gangs involved in multiple thefts, recovering 12 stolen motorcycles and a laptop on Saturday.
Police spokespersons stated that the Khana and Humak teams utilized both technical and human resources to track and arrest the suspects. The arrested individuals were identified as Rasheed, Nazrik, Sajjad, Azeem, and Mohsin.
Cases were already registered against the accused, and during the preliminary investigation, they confessed to their involvement in numerous bike-lifting incidents. Further investigations are underway.
SSP (Operations/Investigations) Muhammad Arslan Shah Zaib directed officials to intensify crackdowns on individuals involved in vehicle theft. He emphasized continuous performance reviews of police officers and stressed that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority, with no tolerance for negligence.
“All zonal officers have been instructed to escalate efforts against criminal elements to ensure public safety,” he added.
