Police Arrest Prime Suspect in Murder of Qatar-Returned Woman

Rawalpindi: Wah Cantt Police have arrested the prime suspect in the murder of a married woman who had returned from Qatar just three days ago.

According to a police spokesperson, the suspect, along with an accomplice, opened fire on the woman, resulting in her death. City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi, Syed Khalid Hamdani, took notice of the incident and ordered the immediate arrest of those involved.

A case has been registered, and investigations are being conducted under the supervision of senior officers. Police said raids are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects.

SP (Potohar) confirmed that the arrested suspect would be produced in court with evidence to ensure strict legal action. Authorities emphasized their commitment to bringing all perpetrators to justice.
