PM Shehbaz Felicitates Winners
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated all winning PML-N candidates, including:
Babar Nawaz Khan (NA-18 Haripur)
Muhammad Bilal Badar (NA-96)
Daniyal Ahmed (NA-104)
Ahmed Shehryar (PP-116)
Muhammad Tahir Pervaiz (PP-115)
Azad Ali Tabassum (PP-98)
Mian Sultan Ali Ranjha (PP-73 Sargodha)
He said the “fabulous success” reflected public trust in the leadership of PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and the development-focused performance of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
“The victory shows the people’s confidence in our spirit of public service and the government’s performance,” he said, expressing hope that the newly elected representatives would work diligently to meet citizens’ expectations.
‘Victory for Progress Over Hatred’
Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information & Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry also congratulated the winning candidates, calling the by-election results a clear endorsement of PML-N’s governance model.
He said the public had rejected “politics of chaos and hatred,” choosing instead peace, stability, and development.
Chaudhry highlighted Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s efforts and the government’s performance as key drivers behind the electoral success. “The results reflect people’s confidence in practical work and public service,” he said.
Responding to a question, he condemned the suicide attack in Peshawar earlier in the day, calling it a tragic reminder of the need for stronger law-and-order measures.
He criticized PTI for what he termed “self-centered politics,” claiming that PML-N’s performance-based approach continues to earn public trust.
