Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast indicating intermittent rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms across various regions, including Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, central and upper Punjab, Islamabad, and north Balochistan, over the next 24 hours. Additionally, snowfall is expected in mountainous areas.
A hailstorm is also anticipated during this period, with heavy falls predicted in isolated areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir. Dust storms and winds that raise dust are forecasted for southern parts of the country.
Moderate to heavy rainfall could lead to landslides in specific areas such as Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galiyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, potentially affecting vulnerable points during the night of March 29 and March 30.
