Referring to the recent floods in Pakistan, the prime minister said the federal government had dispatched additional relief convoys for affected families in Narowal, Sialkot, Wazirabad, Hafizabad, Chiniot, and Jhang. These would be handed over to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

He directed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to maintain close coordination with the Punjab government and ensure full support to provincial disaster management authorities. Relief operations for flood-affected families would continue, he added.

During his visit to the National Earthquake Simulation Center, the prime minister was briefed on disaster management technologies, including newly developed medical rescue vehicles and precautionary systems.

Officials informed him that several joint initiatives were already underway under China-Pakistan cooperation, including the China-Pakistan Joint Lab for Disaster and Emergency Medicine, the International Medical Cooperation Center, and the China-Pakistan Friendship Hospital.
