PM Shehbaz to Begin Official Visit to UAE on June 12

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will depart for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday, June 12, for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and boosting economic cooperation.
During his visit, the prime minister is scheduled to meet UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders will hold wide-ranging discussions on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and the evolving global situation.
Key areas of focus will include investment, economic cooperation, and expanding the scope of bilateral ties between the two nations.
The prime minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising the Deputy Prime Minister, federal ministers, and senior government officials.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the recent surge in the Pakistan Stock Market, which reached a historic high of 124,000 points. He described the rally as a clear indicator of investor confidence in the federal budget and the country’s economic direction.
Calling the federal budget “people-friendly,” the prime minister noted that it imposes no additional tax burden on the common citizen. He said that salary increases and tax reductions announced in the budget will provide much-needed relief to the salaried class.
“Alhamdulillah! The journey of national economic development has begun,” PM Shehbaz said, crediting the resilience and sacrifices of the Pakistani people for the country’s progress.
He termed Pakistan’s recovery from the brink of default and its transition towards stability and growth a “miracle,” reaffirming his government’s commitment to inclusive and sustained economic development.
