PM Shehbaz to Attend Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha

Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will visit Qatar on Monday to participate in the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha.
The summit has been convened following Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, escalating tensions in Palestine, and the forced displacement of Palestinians. Heads of states, governments, and senior officials from OIC member countries are expected to attend.
Pakistan has reiterated the importance of its ties with Qatar and strongly condemned Israeli aggression against Qatar and other regional states.

Earlier, on September 11, the Prime Minister visited Doha to meet Qatari leadership, reaffirm Pakistan’s support for Qatar’s security and sovereignty, and emphasize the country’s commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East.
Zardari Condoles Passing of Roshan Din Junejo
President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Member of the National Assembly Roshan Din Junejo.
The late Junejo represented Sanghar and had a longstanding association with the Pakistan Peoples Party, according to a President’s House press release.
The president, who is currently on a visit to China, acknowledged Junejo’s significant contributions to both his party and the constituents, noting his sincere commitment to public service and tireless efforts to improve the lives of those he represented.
President Zardari also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family of Roshan Din Junejo during this time of loss.
