PM, Qatari Amir Reaffirm Resolve to Strengthen Fraternal Ties

London: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the deep-rooted and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Qatar.
The understanding was reached during a telephone conversation between the two leaders, during which they discussed matters of mutual interest as well as regional and international developments.
According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing, the leaders exchanged warm greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramazan and prayed for peace, unity and tranquility of the Muslim Ummah.

Both sides reiterated their resolve to continue close cooperation in promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his deep appreciation for Qatar’s diplomatic efforts under the leadership of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to advance peace and reconciliation in the Middle East and other parts of the world.
In a post on his official X account, the prime minister described the conversation as “warm and cordial,” saying he had extended Ramadan felicitations to the Qatari Amir and reaffirmed the shared commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties.
He also lauded Qatar’s role in fostering dialogue and reconciliation under Sheikh Tamim’s leadership, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration between the two brotherly countries.
