PM Denounces Israel’s Interference with UNRWA Operations

Riyadh: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned Israel’s efforts to obstruct the operations of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
Currently on a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia for the Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh, he expressed on his X timeline that Israel’s actions, which hinder critical relief assistance to millions of vulnerable Palestinians, represent a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter.
He urged the international community to hold Israel accountable for these violations.
In his address at the FII conference on Tuesday, the prime minister emphasized that the global aspiration for progress and prosperity cannot be realized without restoring peace in Gaza and ending the ongoing violence.
He pointed out that without peace and an immediate halt to bloodshed in the region, the world will struggle to achieve progress and prosperity.
