Rawalpindi: For the first time in four months, Rawalpindi reported no new dengue cases in the past 24 hours, signaling significant progress in combating the mosquito-borne disease
According to the district health authority, this milestone reflects a steady decline in dengue infections over the past week, with an average of two cases per day dropping to none.
Currently, only eight patients remain hospitalized for treatment, and health officials anticipate their full recovery within a week based on the discharge pace.
The health authority emphasized the importance of sustained efforts to maintain this achievement and urged citizens to remain vigilant in preventing mosquito breeding to avoid a resurgence of the disease.
