PIMS Receives Another Dengue Case

Islamabad: Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has received one more dengue patient in the last 24 hours and there have been no deaths so far in the hospital.
PIMS Executive Director Spokesperson Dr Mubasher Daha informed that a total of 23 dengue patients are admitted to the hospital, while seven patients have been discharged.
Spokesman told that 10 further beds have been allocated in the medical ward II in view of the sudden increase in the number of dengue patients.
Executive Director (ED) has directed the hospital staff to ensure the implementation of the plan prepared to handle dengue patients at the hospital.
Dr Mubasher further said that the ED is personally supervising all preparations to prevent any treatment-related inconvenience.
The ED assured that, like in prior years, the hospital would provide the best medical care to dengue patients this year as well, Dr Daha added.
