PDMA Warns of 50°C Temperatures in Punjab

Islamabad: There is a possibility of temperatures reaching up to 50 degrees in Punjab today (Monday). The heatwave and intense heat are expected to continue in Punjab today as well.
The spokesperson for the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab stated that temperatures could reach between 45 to 50 degrees.
The spokesperson mentioned that there could be a severe heatwave in Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Multan.
He reported that yesterday (Sunday), the temperature was recorded at 50 degrees in Khanpur, 49 degrees in Rahim Yar Khan and Bhakkar, and 48 degrees in Kot Addu.
The PDMA spokesperson said that yesterday, temperatures reached up to 44 degrees Celsius in the plains, including Lahore.
