Pakistan to Face Bangla in SAFF U-17 Semifinal

Islamabad: The semifinals of the SAFF U-17 Championship 2025 will be played in Sri Lanka on September 25, with Pakistan set to face Bangladesh in the first semifinal at 2:30 p.m. Pakistan time. India will take on Nepal in the second semifinal later the same day, according to a press release.
Earlier in the group stage, Pakistan suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against India. Dallalmuon Gangte put India ahead in the 31st minute before Muhammad Abdullah equalized for Pakistan with a penalty in the 43rd.
In the second half, India extended their lead with goals from Gunleiba Wangkheirakpam (63’) and Rehan Ahmed (73’), while Hamza Yasir pulled one back for Pakistan in the 70th minute.
