Nuclear Environment Leaves No Room for War: COAS Asim Munir

Kakul: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir NI (M), HJ, on Saturday warned India that any adventurism would be met with a decisive response, stressing that there is no room for war in a nuclearized environment.

Addressing the passing-out parade of the 152nd PMA Long Course, 26th Lady Cadet Course, and 37th Technical Graduate Course at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, the COAS reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to defending “every inch of its motherland.”

“We will never be intimidated or coerced by your rhetoric and will respond decisively to even a minor provocation without any qualms,” the army chief said, urging India to resolve the core dispute as per international norms rather than resorting to confrontation.

Field Marshal Asim Munir lauded the armed forces’ professionalism and operational excellence, citing recent operations Marka-i-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos as examples of Pakistan’s robust defense capabilities.

He said these operations had further strengthened public trust in the military’s competence and commitment by neutralizing threats with remarkable precision.

Highlighting Pakistan’s advanced defense capabilities, the COAS said the armed forces had successfully downed Rafale aircraft, targeted multiple enemy bases including S-400 systems, and demonstrated multi-domain warfare prowess.

Criticizing India’s “politicization of terrorism,” Asim Munir said New Delhi’s refusal to allow neutral investigations and reliance on self-fabricated evidence reflected the ruling regime’s vested interests.

He praised the resilience and unity of the Pakistani nation, saying that people from all walks of life—regardless of ethnicity, gender, or creed—stood together like a “wall of steel,” embodying a renewed spirit of patriotism.

“Since the creation of Pakistan, our armed forces, with the full support of the nation, have defended the country’s internal and external frontiers with unwavering resolve and pride,” he said.

The COAS added that Pakistan’s collective success had revitalized the proud memories of earlier victories. “Once again, Pakistan has emerged victorious against a treacherous enemy marked by strategic blindness and misguided hegemonic ambitions,” he concluded.
