New Rain Spell With Snowfall Likely To Start in KP: PDMA

Peshawar: The upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, are anticipated to experience a new spell of rain and snowfall which is likely to start on Friday (today) evening.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) sources informed that rains would lessen the intensity of fog, adding that that rain and snowfall are likely to continue intermittently until Wednesday.
Instructions to the relevant institutions to take precautions have already been passed due to rain and snowfall, said PDMA official.
He warned the tourists and other local visitors to exercise caution to prevent any adverse incidents, stating that snowfall and landslides may produce obstacles in the roads in the upper districts.
The official stated that authorities worried about the availability of small and heavy machinery had been ordered by the district administration to ensure that vehicles may go freely to their intended destinations.
