Naqvi Congratulates Arshad Nadeem on Asian Athletics Gold

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has extended heartfelt congratulations to star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem for clinching the gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championship held in South Korea.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Naqvi lauded Arshad’s stellar performance, saying, “Well done, Arshad Nadeem. We are proud of you.”

He also congratulated Arshad Nadeem’s coach and family, acknowledging their crucial role in the athlete’s success. “Arshad is a true son of the soil, and once again, he has made every Pakistani proud,” he said.

Calling Arshad a national hero, the PCB chief said the victory was a result of unwavering hard work, dedication, and commitment. “This historic achievement has brought immense joy to the entire nation,” he added.

Highlighting the significance of the win, Naqvi noted that Arshad’s triumph over top athletes from India and other countries was a matter of great national pride. “Raising the Pakistani flag high on such a prestigious platform is a tremendous honour. Arshad has truly won the hearts of the people,” he said.
