Muslim Leaders Arrive in Riyadh for Arab-Islamic Summit

Riyadh: Leaders from across the Muslim world arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday to participate in the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit.

The summit, which brings together key regional and global figures, aims to address pressing issues facing the Muslim community.

Among the leaders attending are:

  • Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani
  • Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref
  • Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
  • Jordan’s King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein
  • Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi
  • Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah
  • UAE Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan
  • Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev
  • Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council President Abdel Fattah Al Burhan
  • Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

Upon their arrival at King Khalid International Airport, the leaders were warmly received by Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, along with several other high-ranking officials.
