He stressed the need for strong coordination among Rescue 1122, Highway, Police, and district administration teams to ensure timely responses in case of any emergency. He further instructed that facilitation centres be made fully operational without delay, necessary machinery and staff remain on standby, and resources be ensured to keep roads open during snowfall.

CTO Wasim Akhtar said the traffic police had finalized a comprehensive winter traffic management plan, which would be implemented effectively. He added that additional personnel would be deployed at busy locations, parking areas were being improved, and special teams would provide information and assistance to the public.

He urged citizens to follow traffic rules, ensure their vehicles are well-maintained, and avoid unnecessary travel during snowfall to prevent road blockages and inconvenience.

ADCG Kamran Sagheer also directed all departmental officers to hold a review meeting within the next few weeks to ensure that all preparations are completed before the start of the snowfall season.
