Monsoon Rains Claim 68 Lives in KP: PDMA

Peshawar: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported on Friday that 68 people have died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) due to monsoon rains and subsequent incidents.
According to the PDMA, the rains have caused significant damage, with 786 houses affected, of which 200 were completely destroyed.
Among the deceased, 32 were children who died in various rain-related incidents across the province. Additionally, 117 people were injured due to these incidents.
The PDMA has warned of the possibility of more rain and storms in certain plain and upper areas of the province, advising the public to take precautionary measures to prevent further casualties and damage.
