Rawalpindi: As many as three people, including women and children, sustained severe burn injuries in a powerful gas explosion that occurred on Peshawar Road in Rawalpindi early Monday morning.
According to rescue sources, three individuals, including women and children were rushed to the hospital following the explosion, a private news channel reported.
Emergency teams arrived at the scene promptly and began providing medical aid to the victims, who sustained severe burn injuries from the gas leakage blast.
The exact cause of the gas leak explosion has not yet been determined and authorities are investigating the incident.

At least three people lost their lives and other three persons including women sustained injuries when a bus rammed into a rickshaw in Shahkot, Punjab on early Monday morning.
According to details, rescue teams shifted the three injured individuals to a local hospital in Shahkot for treatment, a private news channel reported.
The accident occurred near the Shahkot Mirpur bus stop when a bus collided with a rickshaw and in the result of the collision three people died on the spot while other three critically injured.
Authorities and emergency services rushed to the scene to provide immediate assistance and manage traffic in the area.
