Islamabad: Though scattered showers hit parts of the region, the majority remained under a humid atmosphere, leading PDMA Punjab to issue a warning for citizens to stay cautious and take precautions against the light rain and muggy conditions.

The spokesperson of PDMA Punjab in a recent statement with PTV news channels emphasized the need for residents to remain cautious amid ongoing weather conditions.

With light rain continuing in various regions and high humidity persisting, the public is urged to take appropriate precautions to ensure their safety. The advisory comes in response to the potential health risks associated with such weather patterns.

The spokesperson particularly highlighted the combination of rain and humidity, which can lead to slippery roads and increased chances of heat-related illnesses.

Citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, especially during peak rainfall hours and to stay hydrated. In addition, drivers are urged to exercise caution on the roads, as the wet conditions could lead to reduced visibility and longer braking distances.

PDMA Punjab assures the public that all agencies are on high alert and will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Citizens are advised to follow all safety guidelines and remain informed through official channels.

The authorities are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the public throughout the duration of the ongoing weather conditions.
