Lahore: In a heartwarming act of compassion, the “Mera Pyara” team has successfully reunited 29-year-old Rabia Bibi with her family after more than two months of separation.

The reunion took place on Monday, thanks to the relentless efforts of the team under the special direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and IG Punjab.

Rabia had been living at the Edhi Homes in Faisalabad after being unable to remember her family’s address due to mental stress and imbalance. Despite her best efforts, Rabia struggled to recall any details about her home or relatives.

However, the Mera Pyara team remained committed, conducting several follow-up sessions and tirelessly working to locate her family.

Expressing gratitude, Rabia’s family thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, IG Punjab, and Lahore’s Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) for their support in bringing their loved one home. In recognition of the Mera Pyara team’s dedication, CTO Lahore announced a cash reward and certificates of appreciation for their outstanding work.

To further support the search for missing persons, the CTO urged citizens to use the Punjab Police’s mobile app, which includes a “Mera Pyara” feature. The app, updated daily, provides information on missing persons, offering an essential resource for families in their search for loved ones.
