Marka-e-Haq: 51 Martyred, 199 Injured in Indian Aggression, ISPR Confirms

Islamabad: In a statement released on Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that 11 soldiers and 40 civilians were martyred, while 78 military personnel and 121 civilians sustained injuries, as a result of unprovoked aggression by Indian Armed Forces against Pakistan.

The ISPR detailed that the attacks occurred during the night of May 6-7, 2025, when Indian forces carried out unjustified and brutal assaults, deliberately targeting innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly.

Among the civilian casualties, 7 women and 15 children were killed, while 121 civilians were injured, including 10 women and 27 children.

In response to this grave act of aggression, Pakistan Armed Forces launched a determined and precise retaliatory campaign under the operation Marka-e-Haq, executing well-coordinated strikes through Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.

Defending the nation with exceptional courage, 11 members of the Pakistan Armed Forces embraced martyrdom and 78 were injured.

The military martyrs included:

  • From the Pakistan Army: Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Naik Waqar Khalid, Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar, and Sepoy Nisar.
  • From the Pakistan Air Force: Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf, Chief Technician Aurangzeb, Senior Technician Najeeb, Corporal Technician Farooq, and Senior Technician Mubashir.

“These brave souls made the ultimate sacrifice for the motherland—symbols of valor, dedication, and unshakable patriotism that will forever be remembered by the nation,” the ISPR stated.

The Pakistan Armed Forces, along with the people of Pakistan, extend their deepest respect and gratitude to the fallen heroes and civilians, and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The statement concluded with a firm warning: “The nation stands united and steadfast. Any future attempt to challenge Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity will be met with a swift, comprehensive, and decisive response, Insha’Allah.”
