Man, Nephew Killed by Lightning in Bajaur

Peshawar: A man and his nephew tragically lost their lives after being struck by lightning in the Salarzai tehsil of Bajaur district on Monday, Rescue 1122 reported. 

The victims, identified as Ismail, son of Sahib, and Hamza, son of Haroon, had taken their cattle to a nearby mountain when the lightning struck, killing them both instantly. 

Rescue teams faced significant challenges in reaching the incident site due to heavy rain, thunder, and a hailstorm in the area at the time.

One Killed, 14 Injured in Accident 

A deadly road accident occurred in Lodhran on Monday when a passenger bus collided with a trawler that had overturned on the road. 

One person was killed, and 14 others were injured in the crash.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene promptly, transporting the deceased driver and the injured passengers to a nearby hospital. The incident has raised concerns about road safety in the region.
