Man Killed, Elderly Tortured, Trader Robbed

Islamabad:  In separate incidents across Pakistan over the last 24 hours, one person was killed, another was tortured, and a third was robbed, according to news released by APP on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, a man tragically died after falling into a water well in the Mohmand tribal district. The incident occurred in Tehsil Safi, where Alamzeb Khan, son of Saidagul and a resident of Hashimkor Adeenkhel, lost his footing while drawing water from the well and fell inside.

Rescue 1122 teams responded to the scene, recovered the body, and handed it over to the family for burial.

In another incident, at least 13 people have been booked for allegedly torturing an elderly man in Gujrat. Local police have registered a case against 13 individuals for the assault of senior citizen Akram in a village near Kot Addu, Gujarat.

The suspects, including Ismail Tariq and Rizwan among 11 others, fled the scene before the police arrived.

Additionally, bandits stole Rs 0.9 million from a trader on GT Road, within the jurisdiction of the Wah Saddar police station. Noman Maqsood, the trader, was attacked by three armed men on a motorcycle while returning home after withdrawing the cash from the bank.

The bandits stole the money at gunpoint and escaped. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident further.
