Major Trafficking Racket Unearthed in Multan

Multan: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has unearthed a major human trafficking network, arresting a suspect and recovering Rs20 million allegedly obtained from a victim on the pretext of arranging overseas employment.
According to FIA sources, the arrested suspect, identified as Naveed Afzal, had previously been booked in two separate cases related to human trafficking.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect had collected Rs20 million from a citizen by promising to arrange a work visa and employment in Canada. However, he failed to provide any legal immigration arrangements.

In an official statement, the FIA said a comprehensive investigation was underway and expressed confidence that other absconding accomplices involved in the network would soon be apprehended.
