Expressing his sentiments on the matter, he shared on the social media platform X that London had the distinction of being the first city in the Western world to illuminate its streets in honor of Ramazan last year, and the initiative was warmly embraced.

Concluding his remarks, Sadiq Khan emphasized that these splendid lights convey a clear message to the world: London is a city for everyone, where people come together to share in each other’s joys.
