Laptop Battery Explosion Claims Two Siblings Lives

Faisalabad: A devastating fire broke out in a house at Satyana Road in Faisalabad, reportedly caused by the explosion of a laptop battery. 

The incident resulted in the death of two siblings and left seven others injured, including three children.

Hospital sources confirmed that the two siblings who sustained severe burns succumbed to their injuries at Allied Hospital. The other seven injured victims are currently receiving medical treatment.

Rescue officials stated that the fire has been successfully brought under control. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire originated from a laptop battery explosion while it was charging.

RPO Dr Muhammad Abid Khan has directed SSP (Investigations) to thoroughly investigate the incident to determine the exact cause and prevent future occurrences.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed profound regret over the tragic loss of the children and extended her heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.

She has also mandated the provision of the best possible medical care for those injured in the incident.
