Islamabad: In the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9, Karachi Kings clinched a crucial victory against Lahore Qalandars, winning by 3 wickets.

This victory has added a significant twist to the points table, making the playoff race more intense.

Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi have already secured their spots in the playoffs, while Lahore Qalandars are now out of contention.

The battle for the remaining playoff spot is primarily between Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, and Islamabad United. 

Karachi Kings currently have 8 points after their recent win. Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United are tied with 9 points each.

For Karachi Kings to secure a playoff berth, they must win their last match. Additionally, their chances also rely on Islamabad United failing to win their last match or Quetta Gladiators failing to win both of their remaining matches.
