Karachi Enveloped in Fog as Humidity Grips the City
News Desk
Karachi: Fog blankets various areas of Karachi, the country’s largest city today (Monday.
The Pakistan Meteorology Department (PMD) attributes this fog in the city of Quaid to high humidity caused by sea breezes.
Winds from the west blow at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour, with humidity levels exceeding 80 percent. Visibility at Karachi Airport is reduced to 5 kilometers.
The PMD predicts that the fog will dissipate in Karachi once the sun rises.
Additionally, Karachi may experience an increase in heat intensity starting today, with hot and humid weather prevailing.
Over the next 24 hours, Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius, with maximum temperatures potentially reaching 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.
The heightened heat is likely to persist in most parts of Sindh until April 10.
