Kaghan, Galyat Valleys Experience Captivating Snowfall

Kaghan: The picturesque tourist destinations of Mansehra and Abbottabad districts experienced captivating snowfall on Thursday.
According to the locals, the snowfall has transformed the picturesque tourist spots of Mansehra, including Naran, Battakundi, Lake Saif-ul-Mulook, Babusar Top, and Shogran, into winter wonderlands.
Naran, a popular hill station, has received up to two feet of snow, while Battakundi has been blanketed with over six inches of snow. Saif-ul-Mulook Lake has also received a significant amount of snowfall, with an accumulation of over one and a half feet. Babusar Top, a mountain pass known for its breathtaking scenery, has received up to two and a half feet of snow.
The heavy snowfall has enhanced the beauty of the mountains of Kaghan and Shogran, creating a mesmerizing landscape that is sure to attract visitors from all over the country.
While tourists are currently permitted only up to Sewach, six kilometers ahead of Naran, Naran itself is open for visitors. Three hotels and restaurants are operational in Naran to accommodate tourists.All roads in the Kaghan Valley remain open, and KDA officials and heavy machinery are on high alert to deal with any untoward situation owing to heavy snowfall.
In Galyat, snowfall started in the late evening, and up until now, Ayubia, Nathiagali, Donga Gali, and other areas have received up to two inches of snow, while Thandyani has received up to six inches of snow.
The Galyat Development Authority (GDA) officials said that they are ready to cope with the snowfall and clear roads with the help of heavy machinery.
The snowfall is expected to continue in the coming days, further enhancing the beauty of Mansehra’s tourist destinations and attracting more visitors to the region.
