Islamabad’s Independence Day Celebrations

Islamabad: Pakistan came into being on the world Map on August 14, 1947, following a historic struggle made by the Muslims of South Asia led by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Pakistan is celebrating 75th Independence Day today amid a deepening political and economic crisis.
This Day reminds us that our forefathers have created this country to live with Unit, Faith and Discipline which is the Moto of the Founder of Pakistan.
The prevailing political crisis and tussle for power between institutions not only push the country towards further economic fragility but leave a question: Can we generate the political will to enforce redistribution of wealth and power so as to change our course?
This is a positive sign that the enthusiasm of the nation, particularly youth, is unparalleled as people all over the country leave their homes to attend rallies and light fireworks to celebrate its independence from the British Raj, including the residents of Islamabad.
Following are some random clicks of Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations on Islamabad’s roads.
