Islamabad Police Vow Strict Action Against Peace Disturbers

Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Muhammad Jawad Tariq inspected security arrangements at various checkpoints across the federal capital.

According to an official, DIG Tariq reviewed the deployment of police personnel, met with officers on duty, and commended their dedicated service. Senior police officials also accompanied him during the visit.

The DIG said that strict security measures had been implemented to ensure citizens’ safety, with special focus on VIP movement routes and high-security zones. He noted that Islamabad Police were making full use of available resources to maintain law and order in the city.

Reaffirming a zero-tolerance policy, DIG Tariq warned that no negligence in security duties would be accepted and strict action would be taken against any elements attempting to disturb peace in the capital.
