Is Shah Rukh Khan Joining Rajinikanth in ‘Jailer 2’?

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly set to make his debut in Tamil cinema with a special appearance in Jailer 2, the sequel to Rajinikanth’s blockbuster film.

According to Indian media reports, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to play a police officer in a cameo role, sharing screen space with Rajinikanth for the first time. Most of the film’s shooting has already been completed, with only the scenes featuring Khan remaining.

The actor is reportedly scheduled to begin filming his portions in March, which are expected to be completed within seven to eight days.

The first installment, Jailer, became a major box-office success worldwide, earning around ₹650 crore and receiving positive reviews from critics. Production of the sequel is currently underway in Chennai, with the film backed by Sun Pictures.

The production house has already released an action-packed teaser for the sequel, raising anticipation among fans for another high-energy mix of action and comedy.
