Irfan to Lead Pakistan Shaheens in Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025

Lahore: Muhammad Irfan Khan has been named captain of the Pakistan Shaheens squad for the Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, an eight-team T20 tournament scheduled to be held in Qatar from 14 to 23 November.
Pakistan Shaheens have been placed in Group ‘B’ alongside Oman, India ‘A’, and UAE, while Group ‘A’ features Afghanistan ‘A’, Bangladesh ‘A’, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka ‘A’.
The Shaheens will open their campaign against Oman on 14 November, followed by a high-profile clash against India ‘A’ on 16 November, and their final group match against UAE on 18 November.
According to the tournament format, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on 21 November, with the final scheduled for 23 November. All matches will take place at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

Before departing for Qatar on 12 November, the team will undergo a training camp from 8 to 11 November at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Centre in Karachi.
