Islamabad: Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Minister Sherry Rehman on Thursday expressed optimism that the IPSG would be instrumental in gaining financial and other commitments for the implementation of climate-resilient projects in the upcoming years.

The climate change minister appreciated the role of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as the secretariat of the IPSG.
The officials and representatives of the World Bank (WB), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Islamic Development Bank (IDB), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), International Monetary Fund (IMF), UNDP, and other international organisations also participated in the second meeting.
The IPSG is a 41-member group comprising federal ministries and international development partners.
