Russia also expressed strong condemnation, with President Vladimir Putin sending condolence letters to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. In his message, President Putin described the attack as “a testament to the barbaric and inhumane nature of terrorism,” particularly noting the killing of people during a religious ceremony.
He reaffirmed Russia’s readiness to further strengthen cooperation with Pakistan in combating terrorism and extended sympathy to the families of the victims, while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
In a post on X, President Asif Ali Zardari thanked the Russian president for his message, saying Pakistan deeply valued Russia’s solidarity and shared resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms.

Meanwhile, the United States also strongly condemned the attack. In an official statement, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker called the bombing an unacceptable act of violence against civilians and a place of worship.
“We condemn all acts of terror and violence, including this attack,” Baker said, offering condolences to the families of those killed and to the injured.
She emphasized that Pakistanis deserve “safety, dignity, and the ability to practice their faith without fear,” adding that attacks on religious sites violate fundamental human rights. Reaffirming Washington’s support, Baker said the United States would continue to support Pakistan’s efforts to advance peace and security.
“We stand with Pakistan during this challenging moment,” she added.
