India Beats Pakistan in Women’s T20 World Cup

Dubai: India defeated Pakistan by six wickets in a Women’s T20 World Cup match held in Dubai on Sunday.

Pakistan, after winning the toss, posted 105-8 in 20 overs, with Nida Dar scoring 28 and Muneeba Ali contributing 17. Arundhati Reddy and Shreyanka Patil took 3-19 and 2-12, respectively, for India.

India chased the target in 18.5 overs, finishing at 108-4, led by Shafali Verma’s 32, Harmanpreet Kaur’s 29 (retired hurt), and Jemimah Rodrigues’ 23. Fatima Sana took 2-23 for Pakistan, but India secured victory by six wickets.
